I was amused by your description of Asia as a "civilised continent" considering the vicious wars in Syria and Yemen, the lack of basic freedoms - such as freedom of worship - in Iran, the Maldives and Saudi Arabia, the systematic attempts to silence any opposition in China, ethnic cleansing in Myanmar and possibly all of the above (who knows?) in North Korea. They make the "uncivilised continent" (the Antarctic) look like angels.
