I'd never heard of Entre Rios, and after reading up on it, I'm not sure it belongs as an independent country. Still, I'm glad it was here so I could learn something.

Yes, it was 'unrecognized', but hey, which parts of America were completely recognized by a majority of the population? I guess not the colonialists.

I think "Federal League" or "League of Free Peoples" would be a more accurate name

Have to say I agree with Eutychus. An unrecognized, unstable breakaway polity doesn't really count as a country. The "countries of the world" quiz doesn't include rebel groups with territory or unrecognized attempted secessions.

"Entre Ríos" region is also called "Mesopotamia" in Brazilian History books, both terms meaning "between rivers" (in Spanish and Greek, respectively). I think this could be consiedered too.

Great quiz!

I'm Brazilian and never heard about this entre ríos country, and I'm also pretty sure that Mesopotamia isn't in South America

It's another name for Argentina, which works on here. In fact, I tried it first because I wasn't sure if Argentina would be accepted.

I was wondering about Florida, but upon looking it up, the treaty only went into effect in 1821.

Given Hawaii is shown on the map, you could add the Kingdom of Hawaii

Yes, while Hawaii is very far from being in North America, it definitely should be on here just because it happens to be on the map.

Could you add an enlarged area showing where the Swedish territory is?

Agreed, there should be a map inset for that.
