That's nice, even though "The tonight show" is totally obscure for non-Americans.

At least here in Switzerland, it's on cable. Not worth watching with Jimmy, though. Also, saw it in some other countries, too, during Conan.

Not exactly household names, but among the young and educated, many people have heard of Carson, Leno, Conan and Fallon. Might even be watching them.

For "States with less that 1 million", I entered Vermont, Alaska, Delaware, South Dakota, and North Dakota, but it didn't accept any of those. It only accepted Wyoming for some reason.

I have to disagree. You ever been to Farmington, NM? There's nothing metro about it. Even if you include Bloomfield, Aztec, and Kirtland you're maybe at 60,000. The entire county was at 130,000 in 2010.

The whole county is the metro area. I don't like it either. But since I'm not USA dictator (yet) I have little power to change it.

A few years back. They moved their headquarters to Illinois, inflicting a lot of pain on the employees who had to uproot their families or lose their job. The choice to move to Illinois seems especially bizarre as the state is not exactly known for its business-friendly climate. And obviously the weather sucks as well. I wonder what logic went into that decision making process? It feels like they moved just to "do something". Boeing's management is generally rated as awful.

agree. Also, Dine should be accepted for Navajo and, I assume it's accepted although I didn't try, but Lakota is also the correct name, not Sioux.

That map in the corner was nagging me to figure out what it is. It's showing the results of the 2016 Presidential election by congressional district. In case anyone was curious.

That style of map is pretty misleading though since it doesn't account for population density. In fact, it actually exaggerates the appearance that more people vote Republican by showing huge swaths of barely populated land as supporting Republican candidates. Acres don't vote.

+2
Level 74
Mar 31, 2023
At least it shows roughly equally-populated tracts of land, unlike a state-by-state map.
+1
Level 69
Mar 31, 2023
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't "Sioux" not the name of a tribe? More of a broader group of tribes (Lakota, Dakota, etc.) if I understand correctly. I guess census data governs what you can verifiably put on a quiz like this.
+1
Level 50

Dine is the actual name for Navajo people (which is the spanish name) and should be accepted, if not listed, and Lakota is more accurate than Sioux and should be what is listed.
