However, for a few countries (mainly in Africa) I couldn't find 'worldwide' superlatives, but only 'continental' superlatives. Furthermore, I had to use the world"only" for a few countries but I was hoping I would not have to.

England - last conquered as a whole in 1066, although much of the north was effectively annexed by Scotland in the mid-12th century
Wales - last conquered in 1283, by England
Scotland - arguably never decisively conquered by anyone, but under the control of the English king around 1300
Ireland - last conquered around 1600ish, again by England
None of the UK nations has been conquered by anyone other than each other since 1066, so I'd say the question and answer are just about valid. You could specify 'conquered by a foreign power' if you wanted to be absolutely correct about it.
