"Indonesia's current ownership of Western New Guinea makes it a transcontinental country; Western New Guinea is often considered part of Oceania because of its Indigenous Melanesian inhabitants and geological association with the Australian continental landmass"
Sao Paulo separatist movement is so irrelevant that nowadays is just a meme. The three southern states (Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Parana) have a much stronger one!
As a kiwi, I have never met a single person in my life who has even heard of a South Island independence movement, let alone is part of it. After a quick google search, there are very, very few people who take it seriously unlike some regions that actually have proper seperatist movements, such as Bougainville, Abkhazia, Basque Country, Ambazonia, Tigray, West Papua, Katanga, Ogaden, Azawad, Jubaland, Nagorno-Karabakh, South Ossetia, Chechnya, Biafra, Balochistan, and literally all of Myanmar that isn't a flood plain.
Seriously though, this quiz doesn't have a lot of fact around it, and in my opinion desperatley needs to be reworked, or reworded to better represent what the quiz is trying to display.
Yeah I was about to say the exact same thing. I *live* in the South Island and have never ever, ever heard the faintest mention of the South Island seeking independence.
