I rode it last year! It's just a single line. The city is quite hilly, so it transports you from sea level to, I'd guess, about 300 metres high.

Yeah, same in Lausanne (my country). Short line, but very steep (approx. 400m)

The Carmelit in Haifa is a Funicular not Metro. Maybe add

Kochi

Kochi is a good one because the city proper is small while the metro area is much larger.
