Thank you for playing this quiz! This quiz is very much in its earlier, rougher stages, so any feedback that can help to fine-tune it will be greatly appreciated!

For one, the criteria for landmarks could probably be better defined. I have included train stations as landmarks, as a nod to the emphasis on public transport in this quiz, but not tram stops since there are far too many of them. I have also decided not to include any schools except for Melbourne’s 4 selective schools. Otherwise, most other landmarks I have included are generally important to Melbourne’s history or culture, though once again their inclusion in this quiz was more or less arbitrary. Please do comment if there are any landmarks you feel should or should not be included.

Please also comment on any type-ins or alternative options in any of these questions, particularly in the roads category; certain exits, for example, as advertised on road signs may be different to or only part of what Wikipedia lists. I have tried to include as many possible answers in these questions, though I may, of course, have missed some. Also feel free to comment if a better/more efficient/shorter route is available for these questions.

I am aware that remembering all of Melbourne’s roads, stops and landmarks is not at all realistic, so using Google Maps is certainly permitted. Indeed, part of the fun is using said maps to explore Melbourne!

Once again, any feedback which can help tweak this quiz will be greatly appreciated. Though this is a rough draft for now, hopefully with your help this could have the potential to become a more refined and (dare I say?) interesting new(?) type of quiz.

Thank you all for your feedback and for playing!

I am tempted to move to Melbourne and start a new life there, just so I would eventually be able to appreciate this quiz more fully.
