Only Connect Quiz #2

Hosted by Victoria Coren Mitchell, Only Connect is a British quiz show known for its fiendishly difficult questions. This quiz has adapted Rounds 1, 2 and 4 (rules below). Can you find the connections?
Round 1: Identify the connection between the four given clues. Try to use keywords rather than sentences for the purposes of type-ins.
Round 2: Identify the connection between the three given clues and then identify what the fourth in the sequence would be.
Round 4: Identify groups of words/phrases which have had their vowels removed. Ys are never omitted.
Some of these clues come directly from the show.

Thank you for playing the second instalment of what I hope will become a series of Only Connect quizzes – with more original questions (at least as far as I am aware), the addition of Round 1 questions, and less weighting on missing vowel questions, I would like to think this is an improvement on the previous quiz!

Unfortunately, due to the nature of Round 1, I cannot guarantee that every way of describing the answer to each question will be included. I have tried to limit the type-ins to single words to accept most variations. If, however, there is a type-in that I have missed that you believe should be accepted, don't hesitate to suggest it in the comments!

Hi again! I've decided to almost double the time limit because I realised that 8 minutes is perhaps not enough to really get a look at all the questions.

This will more closely reflect the time limits used on the actual show:

Round 1: 40 seconds each (total 400 seconds)

Round 2: 40 seconds each (total 400 seconds)

Round 4: 90 seconds for a maximum of 16 questions (Approx. 112 seconds for 20 questions, rounded up to 120)

TOTAL: 920 seconds (rounded down to 900 seconds)

Hopefully with the extended time limit, it will be a bit easier and more enjoyable (and more satisfying, I suppose!).

Thanks again for playing!

Is there any way to see what the connection is in round 2? I can see the answers, but nothing to say what the connection is.

Well, you may think so, but many folk watch the UK TV series. Your logic seems to be that what is beyond you is ridiculous?
