Identify each Australian state or territory by typing in the box under the flag that represents it. Australia has six states, three mainland internal territories, and seven external territories. Some territories do not have their own flag. Those territories are represented as answers in the quiz, with the Australian national flag given as the hint. The answers have been alphabetized to help you distinguish among territories for which the Australian national flag is given as the hint. Only official flags are used.
