Use clues to identify location. The clues are: (1) the ISO 3166 Alpha-3 country code; (2) the continent where the answer is located; and (3) an indication of whether the answer is a sovereign state.

Answers may include locations that are not sovereign states, e.g., colonies, overseas territories or departments, or protectorates.
Oceania, for the purposes of this quiz: the Pacific region between mainland Asia and the Americas, including Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea; but excluding the Ryukyu, Kuril and Aleutian Islands, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan and the Malay Archipelago.
Other than the red text, which IMO shows up very well in dark mode, all the colors used in this quiz are the defaults. I agree that the default text color does not display well in Dark Mode. However, I have no plans at this time to edit the text color on 200+ quizzes.
Instead, I recommend you report your concern to JetPunk. It is possible that Dark Mode isn’t working properly. I see that the default text color in the instructions changes to white in Dark Mode, but the default text color in the body of the quiz does not. That seems like a bug or a design flaw to me.
In the meanwhile, if you have taken a featured text quiz where you did not encounter this problem, please post a new reply in this thread with the quiz’s URL.
Good news! There was a problem in one of the quizzes that got carried forward as I created new ones. It was a problem that can only be seen in Dark Mode, which I don’t typically use.
I have updated about 4/5 of the quizzes in this series.

- Some of them display correctly in Dark Mode.
- Some of them display the quiz questions in Light Mode (white background with black text).
- Some of them display like this one … with black text on a black background.
Since I copy the previous one whenever I create a new quiz in this series, I have no clue what’s going on here.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
