Oceania, for the purposes of this quiz: the Pacific region between mainland Asia and the Americas, including Australia and New Zealand; but excluding Japan, Taiwan and the Malay Archipelago.
Please read the caveats. The definition of Oceania used here excludes the Malay Archipelago. The PNG mainland is located on the island of New Guinea, which is part of the archipelago, as are the islands entirely under PNG’s sovereignty.
