Despite being an Anglophile, I don’t believe I’ve ever heard anyone who’s not from the U.S. pronounce “lima bean.” The lie-ma pronunciation is the standard American English pronunciation. The Ohio city is definitely pronounced “lie-ma.” I have clarified the clue to specify the U.S. pronunciation.
I also corrected the embarrassing spelling error you brought to my attention. (Yikes!)
