U.S. State Flags: Northeast Region

The U.S. Census Bureau divides the country into four regions. The Northeast Region contains the New England and the Middle Atlantic Divisions. State names appearing on the flags have been clumsily obscured.

I am hardly ever accused of making my quizzes too easy, or even pretty easy! ;-)

I thought people might struggle a bit more with knowing which states are in which Census Bureau division. I guess the New England Division doesn’t hold many surprises, though.

They should really change these flags to something more distinctive. The only good flag is Rhode Island.

Almost half of the state flags are dark blue with a seal or coat of arms in the center.
