Good snooker trivia but it's really unclear how to answer the questions (i.e. whether you need to put in dates or names or both). There are also a few spelling errors and WSC needs to be capitalised. Great idea for a quiz though, thanks :)

Good quiz, but it needs to be revised.

The all Welsh final was 1999 rather than 2000 - Mark Williams and Matthew Stevens, in Bournemouth.

the world final between them was in 2000, in Sheffield.

The World Snooker Championship final in 2000 was between Mark Williams and Matthew Stevens. You are probably thinking of the UK Championship in 1999 in Bournemouth. That was also between Mark Williams and Matthew Stevens.

Surprisingly hard! Thanks. I can't help feeling it maybe wants a yellow box - I got several answers in the wrong places.

There are actually three qualifiers that have won the World Championship. The first was Alex Higgins in 1972. If you’re worried about ‘Higgins’ filling out two answers, you can always change the question to “Who are the only two qualifiers to have won the world title at the Crucible?” Alex won his first title at the British Legion Club in Selly Park, Birmingham.

Thank you for pointing it out and for your suggestion. It should be correct now.
