Origins of immigrants stock in the USA 1920

The National Origins Formula was a method used to calculate the contributions of different national origins to the population of White Americans in 1920. It considered immigrants, their children, grandchildren, and colonial-era descendants from the 1790 census. European Americans were dominant, though immigration had brought more people from Southern, Central, and Eastern Europe between 1790 and 1920. The formula found that ancestry from Great Britain made up over 40% of the American gene pool, followed by German (16%) and Irish (11%) ancestry. The Immigration Acts of 1924 and 1952 enforced quotas to maintain this demographic composition. *there are countries in that are not countries anymore
