I will update the quiz to reflect that, thanks!

Not sure "fax" is really a homonym to "facts" but otherwise good quiz.

Fun quiz! A couple seemed weird to me… Dissent and descent are pronounced very differently in most places. Also, for prize I would think pries should work. I didn’t think prys was a word.

Pries and prys are alternate forms, so I'll add that as an alternate type in

Sited should work for cited just as much as sighted.

Also, somewhat confused what version of English has bomb and palm as homophones‽ 🤷‍♂️

Not to me, they don't. (I'm a native American-English speaker with a four-degree in English.)

"Incite" and "insight" are easy enough to guess but I'm not sure they're really homophones... The former places its stress on the second syllable ("in-CITE") whereas the latter places its stress on the first syllable ("IN-sight"). It's not really a huge deal though, other than that this is a really fun quiz!

P.S. maybe accpet "tye" (as in tye-dye) for "Thai/tie?"

I've added tye as an alternate type in.

"Sawed". Nice quiz. Might be worth noting it's for American pronunciations

"Do" is a homophone of "dew."

I'll add it as an alternate type-in, although I tend to pronounce "do" and "dew" differently

"Bomb" and "balm" do not sound the same/are not pronounced the same. (And yes, I am a native American-English speaker.)

"Bomb" rhymes with "pom". "Balm" rhymes with "palm".

I also pronounce "pom" and "palm" the same?

How on earth does ‘awed’ sound the same as ‘odd’?? Sound completely different to me

Depending on your accent it's a bit of a stretch, but I pronounce them the exact same
