Is it deliberate that Etruscos is labelled on the map? If so that's pretty generous. I wouldn't have had a clue otherwise.

Still at this moment almost half have still missed the question.

I got it without enlarging the map but, yes, that's pretty generous.

That's the only one I missed even though the answer was right there hahaha. Still, I agree that it's too generous.

I saw the region on the map and tried several possibilities - just not the actual answer...

I didn't even see Etruscos on the map, I just got it because it was Italy which made me think of Rome, which made me think of the Etruscans

I didnt even look at the map... civilisation with an e- etruscan immediately comes to mind and I think it has been underrepresented on this site and well everywhere basicly. It is always about inca mayan aztec (and roman egyptian)

Hard to feature them more, since we still know little about them.

First I thought of Euler and then I couldn't think of any other mathematicians.

Isn't it also "Eiffel tower", not just "Eiffel".

"first stop for U.S. immgrants" it should be "immigrants"

I wouldn't have gotten Escobar except for the card he's holding.

That's a big part of the clue. I kept saying to myself "IT'S THE DUDE FROM NARCOS" but the name kept eluding me. I hadn't even heard of Medellin, Colombia until I started watching that show.

Sat there for way too long thinking that the country looked European, but which European country had a big wall? I blame Monday.

To be fair, East Germany is not a country anymore.

It's frustrating to know the right answer, but not being able to spell it. It's even more frustrating to be just one letter off. East Indias, East Indies... arghh...

I kept typing "Dutch indies" "Dutch east indie" Dutch east indies"

and got so frustrated that i didn't have time for any other question

I tried sticking dutch into number 6 about 20 different ways before figuring out that it was not needed.

Maybe consider changing the hint for East Germany to former country? It hasn't existed in a couple decades, and for Edo you noted that isn't the current name either.

I hear you, but the Berlin Wall is in the picture, so there really aren't many other options starting with E. "Former" is just going to make it even easier.

You should definitely accept east dutch indies for east indies.

If anything, the country was called Dutch East Indies. But a) that was only the former name of Indonesia, and b) it doesn't start with an 'E'. Moreover, there were also the Spanish East Indies, which covered the Philippines and Taiwan (Formosa). So for the entire region, plain 'East Indies' is the only correct answer.

Please say former country for East Germany.

I don't think Escobar deserves a place in history: Over 5,000 murders and a lifetime of cruelty should be flushed down the sewer and forgotten: a man who could nail a horn to a horses head to give his daughter a unicorn should be forgotten:

Havent really watched history have you... it is nearly always about people that murdered other people. (occasionaly about discovering things, but to get there lives were lost, or will be wasted after the discovery)

I knew it was Edo but for some reason I accidentally typed Ego so I didn't get it. Sigh.
