That's a really dark stone for the China question, most of the stone I saw when I lived there was closer to Jetpunk's fish in color.

As I'm sure you already know, jade comes in many colors. My mother has a pink jade necklace. For me, the style of the horse is more of a clue than the color. The Chinese loved them some jade.

Pink jade? I doubt it (unless from sites like wish and alibaba..) . Lavender jade does exist but is rare. Most "pink jade" you see out there are from sites about horoscopes and talk about deeper meanings and health benefits of stones, and how wearing them will bring you eternal happiness etc. ("Buy this ancient stone, it has special healing powers, and you will never get sick again. now as a bracelet for only 2,99" ...)

That is true, but there is no evidence that the picture of the city is said city on the map. You would have to know where that monument is.

Interesting. I always assumed the Jolly Roger was one of those things invented by a fiction writer and then popularized by repetition. Apparently pirates really used it.

The British navy still uses it, in specific circumstances.

in a last ditch effort i put "jeneral" for military leader because 1.) i thought it was talking about a synonym for military leader and 2.) i was desperate
