Nice! A map would be a nice improvement, I think. I suppose flights within the same state do not get counted

I don't think so for the existence of map. It would make it way too easy

I don't have access to the source material, but the answers seem to suggest that cities within the same state are not counted. I added a caveat.

The source does not mention anything about it either.

"New York City" appears as a clue by mistake.

why would you fly from maryland to dc? I know america sucks at trains but this is just ridiculous

The furthest airport from DC in Maryland is an hour flight vs a nearly 3 hour drive or train trip. Also, I would be interested in knowing if this "destination" is final destination or layover. DC is a major hub -- I've had layovers there many times.

Maryland has only three commercial airports - BWI, Salisbury/OC, and Hagerstown. The smaller two, combined, have flight numbers less than 1% of BWI's traffic. And, there aren't any direct flights from BWI to either of Washington's other two airports. Since BWI is a Southwest hub and by far the airport's largest carrier, I would think another SWA hub city would be a candidate.

I thought I typed in Detroit. Didn't occur to me to try St Louis but from Illinois that makes sense.

Delaware has no commercial air service. Not sure how those folks are getting to Philly.

I live in Virginia and I have never seen any flight to and from Toronto ever before. Can someone please explain this. I would have said New York, Washington, Charlotte, or Atlanta.

Both Reagan and Dulles airports in DC have flights to Toronto from multiple airlines.

I think most flights out of any airport in MT would be to Denver, SLC or Seattle - not Calgary.
