In my comments, I'm usually arguing for less time, but in this case I'd ask for a little more time... maybe 4 minutes?

Wasn't expecting Quebec City. I figured Calgary, Edmonton and Victoria were more well-known.

It's might be people guessing Quebec as the province on quizzes and getting the city out of luck haha

@raymun this is what happened to me. I don't know whether the province is Quebec or Montreal so I instantly went for both

If it helps, "Montréal" literally translates to "Mount Royal" which is the mountain the city is named after and sits next to

Quebec City gets a lot more international tourists than Edmonton, Saskatoon or Halifax, so it only makes sense it would be guessed more easily.

I reckon it wouldn't have been there before the World Cup in 2014!

I think it's there because it stands out on maps as the largest city in a large surrounding. Porto Alegre, Fortaleza, Recife, Salvador, etc. were all World Cup locations as well.

Manaus hosted games for both England and the USA so it probably is quite memorable to people on this site. Plus the fact that the stadium was new and in the jungle was exciting.

Belo Horizonte is in the second most populous Brazilian state, Minas Gerais, and it borders Rio and São Paulo states, maybe that's why they guessed it so frequently. But I thought Salvador would be in that list.

For Manaus I think is because the city stands out. It's a 1,5 million ppl city just in the middle of Amazon Forest. They frequently use huge boats to travel and they are high industrialized (not as some foreigners could think lol).

You would make a lot of French Canadian friends if you added the accents on Montréal and Québec. We're very protective of our language, would be a nice touch!

Just because it's in English, doesn't mean it doesn't have an accent. Look at loanwords like soupçon.

Delhi is not a city it is a territory. The city you were talking about is New Delhi which is the capitol of India. It really threw me off because they are practically the same thing but at the same time it is really New Dehli not Dehli.

Is it fruit? No. Is it bread? No. Is it fruit and bread? Probably not. Is it a conversation?---Is it a fruitful sales deal? Yes! Actually, No!

Is it a hearty breakfast? Mmm, my favorite brand. Is it a four letter word that you can use in various ways that are mostly positive? Hell yeah.
