For a while I thought Laurie was a guy... "dropped off a key at his former home". I must ve read that sentence 8-10 times couldnt wrap my head around it, what was what..
So it wasn't just me. yeah, Laurie seems to switch gender pronouns in the clue. Quizmaster, are we reading it wrong? Does the "his" make more sense as Being Michael Meyers in the full paragraph this is pulled from?
I think the problem is that some of these descriptions are so heavily edited that they're barely recognisable in the Wikipedia article. The Halloween clue is adapted from these two sentences on Wikipedia:
"On Halloween, he sees high school student Laurie Strode drop off a key at the long-abandoned Myers house that her father is trying to sell. Laurie notices Michael stalking her throughout the day but her friends Annie Brackett and Lynda Van der Klok dismiss her concerns."
I'm not sure this clue can really be described as a Wikipedia description, especially since it confuses pronouns and implies that Laurie's father wants to sell a key.
Maybe Wikipedia has been edited since the quiz went up though.
