This is something I considered for a while, but the IUPAC considers a noble gas, and the debate seems to be whether or not it has the properties of a noble gas, rather than is it in the group "noble gases".
Nothing "scientists" have discovered in the last thousand years has "disproved" the traditional five senses - there's no sixth sense you don't know about; it's just a definitions game.
So there are some other senses of the human body, that some would qualify as senses (such as balance), but I'm going by the traditional 5. I think it would be wrong to say that these are the only five, but they are the five clearest and most important.
