I don't think India controls any territory bordering Afghanistan, and Jetpunk's policy seems to be mostly based on that. I'd probably have put Kazakhstan/Kyrgyzstan as an option instead of India to avoid appearing to make a political statement though.
Jammu and Kashmir is clearly Indian. I don't understand why most American maps don't acknowledge this fact. JetPunk should appropriately change all the maps, or I will take it that Mr Quizmaster is pro-China and/or pro-Pakistan. ;-)
You can't just say a country owns territory it very clearly doesn't actually own. India claims it, but they only control about half of it, and it's the half that doesn't touch Afghanistan.
Taking all of Taiwan's territorial claims into account, it would have a border with Kazakhstan, but saying Taiwan and Kazakhstan share a border is objectivley wrong.
You can say that all of Jammu and Kashmir should be Indian in your opinion, but it's just an opinion, not fact.
I think it's JetPunk policy though. And in many maps, they split it in between, where the part that is Indian does not border Afghanistan. Also, I take it as though YOU are pro-India. ;-)
As @AlexThirkell says, it may not be ambiguous by Jetpunk's pragmatic approach, but it feels like an unnecessary technicality to introduce regarding a border which is in dispute. On a quiz like this, it would be better to stay away from disputable "incorrect" answers. Kyrgyzstan would be a great alternative.
if both countries were in one answer it might give it away, and if both countries were separate answers, then there's two right answers which doesn't work with the quiz format.

Why not Jordan (too)?
