'basically' meaning 'in simple terms'. using the word doesn't undermine Jacktheguy's message one bit, it doesn't water it down. so, yes basically, looking at comments is cheating
The quiz says that it does not include the DLC, but the DLC characters are on the quiz. Also, I think you should reconsider the exclusion of the metal (and tanooki Mario and cat Peach) characters since they are apart of the main roster in the main Mario Kart games.
Haven't played a Mario Kart game since 64, I think (was awesome at that one), but managed to get everything other than Bowser Jr, ROB, and the Inklings whatever they are.
Very confusing. The description says "Does not include DLC" but then includes Link, Villager, and Isabelle? Even if that is a typo, then Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach are missing. Also, why the random omission of metal characters?
These were included in the main game of Mario Kart 8 on Switch, so even though their first appearance was as DLC, they have appeared as non-DLC characters after.
No, Birdo is a male character, confirmed in one of the first Mario Bros game, he just identifies himself as female, insisting on beign called birdetta.
This should probably be updated. Mario Kart Tour has Monty Mole, Hammer Bro (and the other Bros), Dixie Kong, Nabbit, King Bob-omb, Kamek, and Chargin' Chuck.
"Doesn't include DLC, arcade games, or "metal" versions of characters" - This does not appear to exclude Tanooki Mario (or Cat Peach), yet he isn't here (he was DLC in the original 8, but not in Deluxe). He is also a separate character, not merely an alt skin of Mario. Am I missing something?
This is probably the worst featured quiz on the site. Not because Mario Kart is bad, in fact I like the games a lot, but because the quiz is super inaccurate and poorly made. Here are the problems:
The instructions clearly say DLC characters are not included, however Link, Isabelle, and Villager are included, even though they were DLC in Mario Kart 8. And yes, they were not DLC in the Deluxe version, but if that is considered, where are Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach? And why is "No DLC characters" even specified in the instructions then?
The random "No metal characters" rule. Why does it exist? Especially when baby characters are still included? It is such an arbitrary rule that makes no sense.
The Mario Kart Tour characters. There are way, way more new characters in Mario Kart Tour than just Pauline and Peachette. Even if you don't include alternate skins of characters, you still have Hammer Bro, King Bob-omb, Nabbit, etc. I think it would be best to just not include them.
1-Mario Kart 8 (Wii U)
2-Mario Kart 64 (N64)
3-Mario Kart DD (GC)
4-Mario Kart 7 (3DS)
5-Mario Kart DS (NDS)
6-Mario Kart Wii (Wii)
7-Super Mario Kart (SNES)
8-Mario Kart Super Curcuit (GBA)
but only 98% got luigi
Quiz includes babies.

If you're excluding Tanooki Mario/Pink Gold Peach etc. shouldn't Peachette be discounted as an alternate form of Toadette?
