Papaya is not a great choice because the Y is tricky; in English I think we'd consider that to be Y acting as a consonant and not a vowel (as opposed to Lychee and Cherry where it is clearly acting as a vowel).
Yeah, but are dried fruits the same as fruits? Would you call a raisin a fruit? I think there's a good argument to be me made that they are more a product of a fruit, like Jam or Jelly.
