The following four letter words are hidden in the consecutive names of bordering US states. Using the hidden word as a clue, name the two states.
eg. "HONE" = IdaHO NEvada
Can be as few as one letter per bordering state
The beginning of the hidden word will always be the end of the first state's name, and the end of the hidden word will always be the beginning of the second state's name
Mississippi can work as well as Missouri for the second one. Also I'm pretty sure the ninth one wouldn't accept my answer for Tennessee when it was spelled correctly with two n's but would accept it spelled incorrectly with one n
