Liked it alot, a few things tho. Pretty sure Counting Stars is OneRepublics most popular song. I dont know what you define as a rock band but i wouldnt count maroon five if you don't count for example Imagine Dragons. Enjoyed it overall!

Wow, this list is an outrage for the most part. But then, already Pythagoras said "Popular taste in music must be always treated with deserved contempt." (rough quote) and the dude pretty much kicked the music rolling for entertainment and medicine for general population (aka outside "holy" use). If we are to believe the historical texts, that is.

Putting aside the question of whether these bands are any good, I think the methodology they used came up with a pretty accurate reflection of which bands are most popular. Nice quiz!

Also, it's a bit weird to have Bad company for Five Finger Death Punch, since the song is better known by the band Bad Company. Maybe omit covers?

good quiz, but tbh as a non-US, it was kinda weird. i mean, is Matchbox 20 still famous? and also, how a-ha and Tears for Fears didn't make the cut to be here? or are they not considered rock? (tho these who consider ABBA rock tend to put synthpop as rock as well).

and yep i'm going to be that kind of person and complain about the bands in top10. gosh AC/DC and GnR are such bad bands. it's not like Metallica, which i don't like but can see why people like. they are just... horrible. anyway, it takes all sorts, i guess.

Hoodoo Gurus has a song called "I want you back." I got all excited when I saw that at number 11. Sigh. Appreciate the quiz. It was fun. But ugh, some of those bands.

Interesting list. I'm sure you could come up with different orders depending on what data you used, but it's interesting to try to come up with a combined metric for popularity.
