Fun quiz! Absolutely nailed it with a score of 6, haha. I wonder if the California Gold Rush have anything to do with the cluster in the north in the mid 1800's?

It sure did with the California Gold Rush starting in 1848 but mainly becoming a rush in 1849 is why you see so many boomtowns in the northern Sierras before dying off from the top 10 in the next couple decades as they moved towards the Bay
