Clearly it was a very popular trend in the late 1800s-early 1900s. I think it's time to bring it back. Ted Cruz grew a beard recently and he looks like much less of a dork now.

Do you not count sideburns as facial hair? I know at least John Quincy Adams and Martin Van Buren both had fairly robust sideburns.

Its been a while since I made this quiz but if I remember correctly, I believe the way I decided if it counts as facial hair was if they had a mustache or beard

John Quincy Adams and Martin Van Buren had sideburns that were really just massive, bushy beards missing the goatee area. Definitely not just an extension of head hair a woman could grow.

I think Dr. Zaius from Planet Of The Apes might've had an ancient picture of John Quincy Adams tucked away.

Taft and Cleveland look so much alike, they could be brothers.

Cleveland was born in my home town. Used to ride by the house he was born in all the time. Never got to meet him, though.

Did you know that Abraham Lincoln didn't have facial hair until an 11-old girl told him to?

I'm pretty skeptical that JQ Adams should be included. Just looking at Wikipedia, This portrait from 1828 shows him without facial hair, as does this one from 1824. However, this engraving on Wikipedia maybe provides some evidence to the contrary. Regardless, the pictures for Adams and Van Buren should definitely be changed because the quiz doesn't really make sense including pictures of presidents long after they left office and seems to reflect "people who were presidents who had facial hair at some point in their life." I think the pictures should show them when they were actually president.

I do see what youre saying, when I made this I failed to look at when the photographs were taken and simply just took the main image used for the Presidents on Wikipedia. If I find the motivation to update this quiz, I'll make sure to attempt to find something at least one moment during the presidency with facial hair.
