3 degrees cooler and this would be the ideal average temperature, but these countries are all too hot. Still... Nauru's climate is far preferable to Norway's.

26.4°C to 24.8°C is ideal? That's insane.

Actually it is because it is neither cold, nor hot.

Sounds ideal to me. Most people I know like it much colder though.

It depends on humidity. 25°C in tropical monsoon conditions would feel oppressive to most people living in temperate climates, but it would be quite pleasant in a shady, low humidity environment. A high dew point (which is a combination of temperature and humidity) is a better indicator of thermal discomfort.

All a matter of taste I suppose. And what you're used to, and what your body's suited to.

This is annual average temperature, mind you. Even if every day was the same temperature, you would be well in the 30s in the afternoon of every day.

Why in the world is this not featured? I saw on this quiz https://www.jetpunk.com/user-quizzes/190743/hottest-countries-with-exceptions quizmaster said it was too hard?

A: a challenge is good: B: the continent clue really helps enough that its not that hard anyways. Didnt get 20 but somehow O didn't type Mauritania when I was sure I did. Oh well.

There's a pretty huge difference in seasons.

Deserts (Arab countries) can get very cold at night because there's no moisture to trap in the heat. Alternatively, very humid/tropical countries (SE Asia) don't have as extreme temperatures during the day because the water traps excess heat. Many of these countries are in an intermediate zone between arid and humid climates and thus don't have the protection of either. It may seem counterintuitive, but in this case, being at either extreme is better than being in the middle.

UAE & Qatar aren't Arab countries? Can't some of the African countries on the list be described as Arab countries as well - Sudan, Mauritania, Senegal, Djibouti, Mali?

The source for this quiz leaves a lot of questions. It does not list the average temperature for countries but rather the average high and average low. It appears the maker of the quiz took the average of those two numbers and then ranked the nations. This is not an accurate way to say what the average temperature. A google search for Average Temperature of nations brings up many lists that are quite different from the results this quiz is asking for.
