It's amazing how many firsts the Soviets established. I wonder if Moon and/or Mars bases would already be a thing of the past if they were still around.

Number 18 is misleading because the USA brought back samples previously with the Apollo 11 mission.

18 is wrong, lunar soil samples were returned to earth with Apollo 11, over a year before Luna 16 brought samples back to Earth. The Soviets just built the first AUTOMATED soil sample return mission.

7 is wrong. It was actually the V-2 rocket that first photographed the Earth outside the Karman line in 1946. And it was done by the Soviets
