Austria-Hungary ceased to exist in 1918. This is about WW2 not WW1....

I know I'm replying to a 7 year old comment but for those finding this quiz now: the Baltic states were not part of the USSR during WW2. They became independent after WW1 and were occupied by the USSR in 1940, then by the Germans from 1941-1944; after the end of the war they were then incorporated into the USSR.

This is massively wrong in some respects. the UK lost around 60,000 civilians, so I don't trust the rest. Where did all those US civilians die?

The numbers include colonies, so I suspect the high numbers for the US come from the Philippines and the UK from their empire.

Agreed. There needs to be consistency. If Korea is counted, so too should be India, Malaysia etc.

Funny how the Japanese have gotten almost complete forgiveness from the West despite being worse than the Nazis, while the Germans are still self-flagellating. Shows the ethnocentrism of the West.
