Strictly speaking, Yamamoto, Doenitz and Spruance were admirals. Dowding was an air marshal. Bradley's contribution to the Battle of the Bulge was marginal. The northern half of the Bulge was given to Montgomery temporarily. Middleton and Gerow would have been better choices for that question.
