I saw this in the RUC yesterday, then I saw 1 and 2 in the New and Recently Reset, but I never thought this would be featured the following day! Amazing quiz.
It should accept "Deutsche Telekom" instead of "T-Mobile". The logo actually corresponds to Deutsche Telekom, T-Mobile is just a brand name used in some countries.
I see what youโre saying, but being that this is an English language quiz, it made sense for the display to go with the name by which it is known most-broadly in the English-speaking world. I agree completely that DT should be a type-in, but if weโre going with DT, so we also accept all worldwide subsidiaries? Hrvatski Telekom, Magenta Telekom Austria, Magyar Telekom, Slovak Telekom and Telekom Romania?
I spent a lot of time trying to guess ones for brands it turns out I've never heard of - Fruit of the Loom, Titleist, Fred Perry and Hollister. No amount of extra time would have helped me there. And I feel like I should have gotten Atari, but was thrown by Atari's designation as French. I did not know this.
I typed BA in at first for British Airways, which is a pretty common abbreviation for them here in the UK. I appreciate you could accidentally get that though while trying to guess others!
This one had the most unknown ones for me so far, never heard of fred perry (sounds like an actor), titleist (sounds like err) or hollister. Nor papa john or crispy creme. Though they may have been mentioned on this site before and I simply haven t remembered. So many foreign food places, limited capacity for them in my brain ;) some did get a spot though, like pizza hut and dunkin donuts ( just because of the alliteration) and think since this site wendy's and chickfilet or something. Only know those from this site.
Again, excellent logos! the atari one looks really cool and others are quite clever.
