Country Flags Featuring Weapons

A nation's flag has multiple functions directed at both that nation's people as well as to other sovereign peoples. A flag might feature a crescent or a cross to indicate a nation's historical religious identity. A number of flags feature weapons. Some of these are the result of simple heraldic convention within coats of arms, while others express a nation's historical identity with regard to agriculture and hunting. Still others are meant to reflect historical conflicts and triumph.
