This quiz needs the yellow box. Otherwise just enter any old Premier League team, and watch the answer pop up anywhere random.

That might get you 5-6 answers, but beyond that, you are going to need to know some very specific (and somewhat obscure) teams.

I've heard of exactly one of these stadiums before and got 12/20 from blind guessing.

Changed Newcastle to Doncaster to avoid this problem.

Ashton Gate should require the full team name as the answer are jot the only team to play in that City.

Good quiz though

This Gashead agrees! It's inconsistent, as Manchester & Sheffield need qualification...

I was just going to add the same. Also, Watford should be removed. Nothing to do with the quiz, they're just offensive and pointless as an entity haha.

Bristol city best team in the quiz

You really should have to type the last half of the name in for the Ashton Gate question. They have two teams with the city name. It's not like (the mighty) Peterborough United who get called Peterborough more often as there is no Peterborough City or Peterborough Rovers. It's more like CSKA Moscow and Dynamo Moscow, neither get called just Moscow.

It's "STADIA", by the way, not "STADIUMS"

According to the OED, either is acceptable.

Highbury Stadium and St. James Park would be some good curveballs...

Why? Why would you have a stadium that no longer exists?
+1
Level 74
Jan 30, 2020
It does - just not the most famous one of that name (besides, I don't think Arsenal's Highbury was ever "Highbury Stadium" ... whose team also play in red shirts and white sleeves :-)

Correct ChipOtley, well done! And you're right, the official name was always just "Arsenal Stadium". And Fitheach that's why I say curveball, St. James Park (without the apostrophe) is not Newcastle, its' in fact one of the furthest grounds from Newcastle.

Pointless, who's not guessing that from the name? If it was still the Lane then yes

Lmao the majority of the world would disagree with you. And also, why do you call Rugby "Football" when it is not played with the feet?
+2
Level 21
Feb 28, 2022
That's football, you kick a ball with your foot. Your football is technically handegg, you use your hands and throw an eggshaped object.

How about a yellow box? Because currently you can just spam all the clubs and get the answers. A yellow box would be more challenging.
