This quiz can be controversial, because it's difficult to know when the movie could happen in this or this country, but not for some others. I had to make choices, and I made them, respecting what Myiazaki said about his own movies.

Just to precise, I've excluded the United Kingdom, but it could be an answer, because Miyazaki said it was a source of inspiration for The Castle in the Sky, but the country isn't represented a lot in this awesome movie.

You’re too kind! What you wrote touched me. I always have a lot of happiness creating this kind of quizzes, and it makes me more happy again to know some other users like them.

You know, a few months ago, when I didn’t know how to create an SVG, I was thinking « But how did SWAT to create these metro stations maps? ». I also really like the design of your Ishgar map, although I don’t know the universe of Fairy Tail at all.

It’s also one of my favorite, with Nausicaa and The Castle in the Sky! In France, we call it « The Travel of Chihiro ».

Really nice quiz! The only Ghibli movie I've seen is "Howl's Moving Castle" (because I read the book initially and wanted to watch the movie), but I've heard good things about the other ones also (especially "Spirited Away" and "Grave of the Fireflies"--both definitely on my "To Watch" list!)

Yes, of course you have ti watch Ghibli movies! It's a very good thing. Grave of the Fireflies isn't my favorite at all, though, but, how we say in French, chacun ses goûts. Have a nice watching!

Hayao Miyazaki has said that, despite popular belief, Jiufen in Taiwan did not inspire Spirited Away.

One of the best quizzes I've done in a while! Really nice design and everything!

I know you addressed it, but I would've included Castle in the Sky because the Welsh mining town setting seems quite distinct to me, but I respect the choice nonetheless.

Again, great quiz! I love Ghibli (and Porco Rosso is my favourite)

I didn't get a lot of answers correct, but the quiz itself was nice!
