It doesn't say that it's from Montreal. It's a local specialty. Pizza is a local specialty of New York City.

The problem is that it isn't really a Montreal specific local specialty, it's more a Quebec specialty. Smoked meat would probably be a better answer as it is very specific to the Montreal are rather than Quebec in general.

I felt badly selecting poutine.

So I didn't.

Years back, an elder woman had been watching me repeatedly order poutine at the KFC by the roadway to Antigonish, finally approaching to warn me it was no good for my health.

Nearby, my cousins had a poutine machine.

I did not reveal this.

École polytechnique is located in Montreal too, I believe it's usually considered an university despite only offering engineering programs.

Also, the Biosphere is incorrect. The landmark is called the Biodome, not the Biosphere.

Minor mistakes, but worth correcting.

Yes, both McGill and Polytechnique are in Montréal.

But, the Biodome and the Biosphere are two different places. (the Biodome is inside the Olympic Stadium).

The École polytechnique that everyone knows is in the Paris area.

But I changed the incorrect answer to "La Sorbonne".
