Thanks! I have quite a few planned. I decided to start with Iran because it's a bit simpler, but I also hope to do more complex places like South Asia and China in the future, so if you liked this, make sure to check back in the future!
Wow... This Map is terrific. It looks amazing but is certainly difficult at least for me. I only got Kurds, Azeri, Baloch and Armenian. Though I wonder why did you choose Iran and not a popular country like Mexico or Brazil Maybe.
As I said, Iran was a bit easier in terms of drawing. I hope to do more "popular" countries in the future :) Unfortunately, I don't know if I'll be able to do Mexico or Brazil, because there's so much ethnic diversity/intermarriage in those places that most places don't have very well defined ethnicities (not to say that's a bad thing, it just makes it difficult for me to make a quiz on them). I think I might be able to make a quiz on the US though, along with China, South Asia (I'd like to see if I can get all of South Asia inn one quiz!), and possibly a few other well-known places.
I think it's fine personally. I mean, the shade of brown I chose for Azeris is very different from the light green that comes up when you guess something correctly. Unless you were talking about Armenians? I could see where you could get confused with Armenians since that one is a kind of neon green, but I still think it's different enough that it shouldn't cause a problem. If other people have trouble with this though, I'll consider changing it.
Hi JWatson! Some months ago you had suggested me to make an SVG similar to Jiaozira's On a Map series. I made one just a couple of days ago and I'm super proud of how it turned out (even though the only thing I did was adding a little bit of CSS). I would love to know what you think of it, here! :)
Thanks! I don't have a lot of time to make SVG quizzes any more, and at any rate, I'm not as interested in this subject as I once was. That being said, if you enjoyed this and haven't taken my other SVG quizzes, I'd encourage you to try some!
