I take great exception to the answer to the "grasslands" question, on almost every count:

• Prairies and pampas are decidedly not tropical grasslands, they are both examples of temperate grasslands.

• Savannahs are a type of mixed grassland-woodland characterized by isolated trees; they may be tropical but they may equally be temperate or flooded; their classification is orthogonal to tropicality.
