It is rather arbitrary in how and for what purpose this site chooses to accept the spelling of country names. It is disingenuous to use "Cote d'Ivoire" and "Ivory Coast" interchangeably, depending on whether you need a "C" or an "I" for your particular quiz. The name of the country is Cote d'Ivoire, period!
The official name of this country is Czech republic not Czechia and the World Atlas website counts Czech Republic as one of those countries without the letter A. It wouldn't make sense to omit a country whose official name does not have the letter A, would it?
Brunei is the common name though, otherwise almost no country would be included on the list.
Ivory Coast and Czechia are problematic though.
But given that it was last updated nearly 9 years ago and the creator hasn't replied to anyone for 8 years leads me to suspect that the quiz isn't going to change any time soon...
