I don't know about customs in English, but in French it is very common to say "OL" for Lyon, "OM" for Marseille, "TFC" for Toulouse, "HAC" for Le Havre etc. I was surprised not to see those type-ins, the same way you made possible for "PSG" and "LOSC" for Paris-Saint-Germain and Lille
You are right on all counts, by the way - as someone that lived in France, when speaking or writing in French, I would use the abbreviations you gave, but in English, we just tend to say Lyon and Marseille etc, and that’s why I was toying as to whether or not I should include the French abbreviations in the English language quiz. On balance, I thought they should be, so with OM and OL already being accepted type-ins, I’m surprised you found that they didn’t work.
Very good quiz !
