Made one mistake right at the end - clicked Croatia instead of Yugoslavia for the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo - my bad! 4/5. Great idea for a quiz, even if New Zealand is never likely to host an Olympics.
Pyeongchang 2018... The two Koreas did field one team together (women's ice hockey), and marched together in the opening ceremonies, but the Games were unequivocally hosted in and by South Korea. (source: Wikipedia)
Even though it says "Countries" in the title, I still protest that it is Great Britain, as you may know. I don't know if I'm wrong because I might be a bit biased towards myself.
A bit of some English terminology here... Great Britain refers to the island which contains Scotland, England, and Wales. It becomes the United Kingdom once Northern Ireland is included, then becoming a sovereign country.
Yes, a tricky one because a team from Great Britain, not United Kingdom, is represented at the Olympics. Team GB is almost identical to what might be called a Team UK, the only differences I can see being (1) Northern Irish athletes can choose between Team GB and Ireland, and (2) Team GB also covers Jersey, Guernsey and isle of Man, and most of the British Overseas Territories, none of which forms a part of the UK.
and there is a quiz somehow combining Olympic Games and Men's FIFA World Cup cities.
