Can you enter the names of all the currencies in the world, as well as their fractional units? Fractional units (subunits) are what the base currency is divided into, often in the form of 1 base unit = 100 subunits. Some currencies also have a superunit, which is a larger collection of the base unit. All sovereign nations, and those territories that use a currency not used by any sovereign nation, are included in this quiz. (This quiz follows Jetpunk's standard for which countries count as sovereign nations.)
Only currencies that are legal tender have been included in this quiz.
Currency names in italics are currencies that are not used in day-to-day commerce, often made as commemorative money sold to tourist/collectors.
Names of subunits in italics are ones for which there is currently no corresponding physical money that is legal tender.
This is fun! I didn't even miss out that many that I knew. Still loads I didn't know, of course. And I've learnt that the singular of "khoums" is "khoums"... probably now the most useless piece of information I know.
