It's a bit shocking that a proper watchmaker as historic as Girard Perregaux no longer cracks the top 50 while so many meaningless mere brands are in it.

I suppose Lange and Glashütte are included because of their Richemont and Swatch Group ownership, despite being German makers. It would be interesting to see where fellow Saxon company Nomos stacks up; they're easily among the very best when it comes to design and attention to detail.
I dont for a minute believe Richard Mille has a bigger market share than Tissot, TAG or Swatch. The average price of a Mille watch is over $200k. Those lower end price range watches are everywhere.
