I like it, a nice brainteaser, but there seem to be quite a few valid answers missing. Jamaica = 18, Myanmar = 14, Denmark = 14, Bahamas = 14, Bolivia = 12, Bahrain = 12.
There's no rule that words can only be 7 letters in Scrabble. You can only play 7 letters at a time, but you can use existing letters to make words of up to 15 letters (the size of the board).
I'll say that 9-15 letter words are almost never played in Scrabble (although possible). In professional Scrabble, 8-letter words are very common as a bingo using all 7 tiles and an existing letter on the board. I can see not wanting to add 9-15 letter countries, but I don't know why 8-letter countries are not included.
that would be a very weird cut-off. I can see 7 (if you are hte first to make a word) and otherwise the cutoff should be the width of the board, so 15.
No one said anything about needing to use all your tiles> With normal words making a word longer than 8 tiles is very common. And even in the case of countries it would be possible for instance nether -> netherlands. Theoretically ofcourse, since proper nouns are not permitted.
why limit to 8 then, you can make a word already on the board longer, not just make a word that crosses it at 90 degree angle. Like nether-> Netherlands. And since we disregard the rules of not using proper nouns Kazakh-> Kazakhstan etc
The full name is not "Czechia", but rather "Czech Republic", meaning that it doesn't count. Please fix this. You should also consider making a caveat about Myanmar, since it can also go by the name of Burma, which doesn't make the list.
Nominated but could you please add which letters are how many points. This differs a lot per language (letters very common in my language might be very uncommon in English and vice versa)
I would also suggest instead of having the score as the hint to show the number of letters in the word. Because noone can work back from the score to arrive at a country, so it isn't of much help.

Hungary - 14 also is one
It is fine as it is
