"Dicht" is a bit problematic, because it has a lot more meanings and only "closed" counts. It can mean poem/poetry, express something near in close proximity, not only closed but also sealed and it can be the dense in "densely populated/forested".
How about "tulp" instead? Even shorter, not many meanings and associated with the Netherlands.
