Nice quiz, Iceland was part of Denmark at the beginning of the War though. It took control of its internal affairs in 1940 after Germany took Denmark and became formally independent only on 17 June 1944.
Not quite. Iceland gained independence in 1918. However, it was freely associated with Denmark and was a constitutional monarchy which recognized the Danish Royals until 1944.
They lost to the Karelia, Salla and Petsamo to the USSR. The latter gave the Soviets a land border with Norway. Porkkala was also temporarily ceded until it was returned to Finland in 1956.

Ok, microscopic and inconsequential nitpick: in 1939 very much the usual thing was to spell Rumania with a u rather than an o in English. Or sometimes with bouth. But relatively rarely just with the o. Which I unfortunately still do, wasting a precious second and a half or something
I actually knew about this, though mostly through old stamps or listings of flags from the 19th century. I will edit the quiz for this spelling to be allowed.
