I agree. I was also expecting Turkish at the southern border, but I might be wrong. But the ones you mentioned - there must have been a lot of speakers.
I was also going to ask about Roma and Yiddish. I'm sure there were others, too. Turkish, probably. Albanian? other dialects... was there a cutoff below which the number of speakers were considered too few?
It's a great quiz, thank you! There are a few remarks above to consider, but on the whole I'm really glad that now there are quizzes for the history of languages, too. Great for nerds like me. :)
