The Carthaginians were largely a sea-faring people, so it makes sense they would primarily have coastal lands/colonies. Good quiz by the way.

North Africa was mostly inhabited by unruly Berber tribes. Most of the Carthaginian lands were former Phoenician colonies, which by themselves weren't large settlements.
